Blood Donation camp
BlueBlood organised a blood donation camp on 30/09/07 marking the world blood donation day as a first step towards meeting the demand!!

World statistics show that today, blood is the most sort-after body part in the world. Demand and supply are slowly drifting further and further apart. India’s daily estimated requirement of blood is roughly 40 million units of 250 cc blood packages. Of which only 500,000 units are available. Voluntary blood donors have increased the supply of blood by 6% in the world. However, demand has increased by 8%.Keeping this in mind, BlueBlood has basked into the task of meeting the demand. We have planned to organize as many blood donation camps as possible. As a first step, BlueBlood organized a blood donation camp in kovilambakkam, govt. high school, keelakatlai on September 30th, 2007. A team of doctors took charge of safe blood collection from the donors. Around 589 units of blood were collected from the donors, who were mainly students. The blood collected was donated to Government hospitals.

You can also join with us on any of your free sundays and be a reason for a childs smile.
Our main ongoing project is to get recognition for the orphanages and to help create future for those children.

Even when we are blessed with beautiful relationships and things that we need, sometimes our future seems a question mark...then one can just imagine about the irony of those abandoned children. We need not even give away our fortunes, just a simple thought and a helping heart is enough, we can transform the lives of thousands of children. We can help them to help themselves in the future and keep them smiling forever.
